Take bakery online orders for the slot you can bake

Bakery online orders need a slot you can keep. Bread can be the morning bake on the shelf. A cake is a time you agree, not a photo of a cake you cannot repeat today.

  • List bread and packets that are actually in the shop.
  • A cake order needs the time you can finish it.
  • Do not promise a delivery round the bakery will not run.

Bakery online orders go wrong when a cake time is only in a chat. The listing should say what you can finish and when it can be collected.

Which bakery online orders can you accept today?

Accept bread and biscuits you have, and cakes you can bake by the time on the order. A design you cannot make should not stay illustrated as ready.

  • Bread: the morning bake, hidden when the tray is finished.
  • Biscuits: the packet on the shelf, not a flavour you stopped.
  • Cake: a slot you can finish, with the size you actually bake.

Why do bakery online orders need a clock?

A cake that is late misses the occasion. Put the ready time in the order and refuse a slot the oven cannot meet.

What the bakery still decides

Hours and the service area are yours. A cake is often pickup unless your own delivery can carry it. Each order is for one shop.

Open bakery online orders for bakes you can finish

Publish bakery online orders only for trays you can complete, then close a cake slot when the oven is full.

FAQ

Questions? Look here.

Can I take a cake order for this evening?

Yes, if you can bake and finish it by that time. If the oven is full, do not leave the slot open.

Should tomorrow's bread stay listed tonight?

Only if you want orders for tomorrow's bake and you will have it. Do not show it as if it were on the shelf now.

Do I have to deliver a cake upstairs?

Only if your shop offers that delivery. Pickup at the counter is a complete order.

Can I list eggless and regular cake as one item?

Split them if the customer must choose. One unclear row creates the wrong cake.
