Ahmedabad pol shops that buy farsan with the grocery
Ahmedabad pol shops often sell grocery and farsan on the same visit, inside a pol or a society pocket. Mithai is a different, seasonal kitchen. A farsan counter and a kirana next door are still two shops if they are not the same counter.
- Farsan belongs on the Ahmedabad grocery visit when one shop sells both.
- Mithai boxes open only when the kitchen can finish them.
- A pol walk can be pickup only.
Ahmedabad pol shops pack grocery staples and the farsan of the day for people who can walk the pol. That is not Surat's after-work society pattern.
What do Ahmedabad pol shops list with the kirana?
Namkeen or farsan you packed, vegetables, dairy, and bakery if you sell them. Mithai stays a separate row for days the kitchen can pack it.
- Farsan: the mix and the weight packed today.
- Kirana: staples for that pol or society.
- Mithai: festival boxes only, with the pieces named.
Can Ahmedabad pol shops skip delivery?
Yes. Many customers will collect from a shop they can walk to. Turn on only the handoff you will keep.

You set hours and the service area, pol by pol if that is how you work. Each order is for one shop. Do not attach the next-door kirana to a farsan order.
